Allelujah used to be a calm, cheerful, and kind individual. That was, until he was forced into a harsh experiment that not only altered his appearance and genetic makeup, but strangely his personality. Even though Allelujah was given power and strength beyond his wildest dreams, he secretly liked being a "defenseless" human who had a family, friends, and loved ones. He adopted a "Fuck the world" attitude so to say. Doing criminal activities on random occasions to perhaps fill the void in his heart to make things go back to the way they were. However, that can never be the case.
To sum up Allelujah's personality in one word would be "psychotic." Everything he does cannot be questioned with logic. He's as unpredictable as a serial killer, and he acts very much like one. He's prone to random acts of violence against people, large or small. He does enjoy a good laugh, but only in his own psychotic, deranged way. He finds pain amusing. Be it him, or anyone else in pain he still finds it funny.

History:
Allelujah was born 200 or so years ago. His father was very abusive to him and his mother. He struck his mother and Allelujah on several occasions. But the family had to keep appearances in order to their friends to not make themselves suspect. Allelujah's mother had to cover her son with makeup in order to hide the bruises and scars that Allelujah had sustained by his father's hands, feet, or anything he could find around him.
Eventually, Allelujah's screams were so loud when being beat, that the neighbors called 911. Instead of cops coming however. Strange robed men with katanas came. It seemed that Allelujah's father was a hollow the whole time, and the Shinigami killed Allelujah's father. One of the Shinigami suggested that Allelujah come with them to Seiretei. When he did, Allelujah was placed in a chamber and he awoke several years later.
He had a grown man's body, a head full of hair, and his bruises that he sustained from his father had got considerably worse. He placed makeup over the bruises, just like what his mother used to do. This time, he had a clown design over his face to make the scars semi-unnoticeable. He escaped Soul Society by disguising as one and entered the human world, where he lived in solitude.
