Division Rules

Hello fellow Shinigami, this is your Captain speaking. I'm pretty sure that you are aware of rules that do not need to be mentioned, so let's skip those petty things and move on to the interesting part. As you all know, this is the 5th Division, which focuses on planning better ways to defend the Seireitei, as well do the latter. For that reason alone, you must understand that the Seireitei is not only made of objects, buildings and the 46 chambers, but also other Shinigami.

A basic rule to live by " Leave no man behind" this is a good rule, but not the only one.

" Protect your comrades with your life" even if you do have differences, you need to protect your comrades and stick with them until the end.

This pretty much explains itself. As a Death God, I will feel disgust by those that leave a comrade to fall in battle. The 5th will focus in fighting until the end, becoming the first and last lines of defense of the Seireitei. I will not find reason in a personal grudge that exists between you and another Shinigami. As equals, you are meant to fight together against common foes. As Captain, I will allow internal problems to be resolved by the problematic Shinigami, but if things spread and go out of hand, I will make sure that the problem is solved, even if it means giving fatal punishment.

I would feel disappointed if any of my soldiers did not lust for the position of Captain. Nor will I accept that none of you have a purpose in their Shinigami lives. I want to see determination and lust, people that will not give up, even if it is to obtain the most silly thing of silly things. People with no determination or lust...? They are not fit to be in my Division. Pure and simple... I don't like those who walk just to walk.

"My only rule is... Have no Limitations."

I valour those who keep trying to break their own limits and improve. If you feel compelled to follow life (death, in our case) by your limitations, there is no place for you in the 5th Division. Limits are for the weak, those who fail to impose themselves upon the world around them. With this said, know that having no limitations does not make you better than others that cannot surpass their own limits. You are to show your respect upon everyone and everything. Failure to do so will just restrain you and give you an illusion. You'll think you have no boundaries... When you are fiercely chained to the ground.

What are the benefits of being a Seated Officer? It's simple. Those will be the ones with more action and missions, from which they will gain more experience and power. They will also be the only ones to attend the Division's meetings and know firsthand about our plans, giving their opinion in ongoing matters. Unseated officers are unseated because they want to, and I will not see them as an actual member of the 5th Division. PM me if you desire a certain Seat.


FAQs:
Question: "How do I go up a seat?"
Answer: It's simple, challenge the one that is seated above you to a spar, then both shall report to me after the battle's conclusion. The victor will either remain in their seat or switch seats.

Question: "What about inactivity?"
Answer: There is an Absence Forum for those matters. However, if I find a member of the 5th that "disappeared" without reason, his position in the Division also disappears. (P.S.: If you're a Third Seat Officer and lose that position, fight your way up to Third Seat if you come back)

Question: "What about internal problems happening in the Division?"
Answer: I give my Division's members enough time to be responsible and work things out on their own. However, if they show to be irresponsible, consequences vary on the level of the situation.

Question: "There are no rules about following orders! Why?"
Answer: The members of my Division should be able to think for themselves. Imposing that they must follow orders would contradict my only rule. It is obvious that there will be orders, but if a Shinigami of my Division contradicts them with a justified reason, I will understand. I am quite an understandable person, but there must be some repercussions to that. (Just to make me look good in front of the other Captains, although it will be more S&M sessions than real punishments ;D)

Question: "What about length of post?"
Answer: I am a man that chooses Quality over Quantity, but I understand when a thread turns to be boring and narrows the points of action of a Role-Player. If the situation requires you to rush, rush. I just have one concern. The 5th Division's members are not to apologize if their posts are shorter or worse than any other post in whatever topic you may be. You post like that because you want to, nothing more, nothing less.
