One with the desire to obtain knowledge of all things and know everything without exception, to unravel the mystery of all things, this is applied to Aka no Ou's goal and constant state of mind. He wishes to know everything from what created sentient life, to the secrets behind all existance. A desire to possess the knowledge of creation itself. Aka no Ou is driven like a man gone mad to this single yet very complex desire, understanding everything in and out to the smallest detail. Such a thing as knowing reality and what allows it to hold in place, but also the desire to fully grasp what reality is. There is no such thing as an impossible task, and those who consider something an impossibility are either not strong enough in will or did not apply themselves in growth of mind and body. These beings are considered pathetic by Aka no Ou, those who lack the will to grow by living day to day in a world of conflict were rules and limitations are in place. A scientist or a creator would best describe him, driven to create new puzzles to solve and understand the constantly increasing mystery and oddites in existance. Aka no Ou is a calm and carefree man always one step ahead of others, planning far ahead into the future for each scenario that might or might not occur. Though it is possible to make him angry or upset, he never shows it on the outside not one little bit. Entirely observant, Aka no Ou is always aware of everything in the surrounding to the smallest detail nothing escapes his sight. The Bountou is a convincing being capable of manipulating others through words alone, trapping them in a web of lies or using their emotions and feeling or terrible past experiences against them. Despite being a almost perfect lier Aka no Ou never lies unless there is absolutely no choice in the matter, as he finds lying to be a pathetic route to the goal. Aka no Ou holds a fleeting but constant interest, in the growing number of humans who possess Super-human abilities. This is by far one of his lesser interest since most humans lack the sufficient will, abandoned, and desire to transcend to achieve anything productive with their abilities.

Aka no Ou has enough intellect to outsmart even geniuses, having an IQ score of 322. He is both a skilled tactician and also an excellent strategist, capable of creating complex pefectly set schemes and scenarios even in the midist of combat. He is skilled at goading others into doing what he wants, or predicting their reactions. One could say that this intellect extends into the battlefield as well, being able to observe other power and tell if they are fighting seriously or not. Aka no Ou is observent of both others character and personailty, each things in which helps in the accurate judgement of one movement or choices. He is espcailly easy to get along witheven unbelievably so, Aka no Ou is able to calmly converse with anyone including those whom are trying to take his life or just down right hate him. Not exactly the blood thirsty type, Aka no Ou prefers to take the other of many paths towards his goals if at all possible avoiding fighting. Although he is more capable in combat than others, Aka no Ou views fighting as the longer route to what he desires and will only use force if reason fails. The bountou is still a far more formidable opponent than most, having both countless millennia of combat experience and also the ability to use the gift of intellect towards his advantage. He will go as far as he needs to in order to get what he or his superiors desire if the situation calls for it. Aka no Ou is capable of committing truly abhorrent and inhumane actions without feeling any shred of remorse or hesitation. In normal situations Aka no Ou is full of cheer, teasing others, or being sarcastic in a friendly manner. Aka no Ou is willing to go to whatever lengths necessary to further his knowledge and complete the task at hand, one wouldn't be to far off to say that he would commit genocide for this even if he didn't like doing so. Aka no Ou also possesses a 'Perfect Memory,' his mind is like a vast library of information and images. With this unique memory Aka no Ou can recall thing that happened countless decades agos with supprising detail; furthermore if he has seen an object or item once he is able to reproduce a perfect image of said item in his mind down to the smallest detail.

He believes that to respect others of higher authority who do not deserve it other than having a title is nonsense, they have to actually earn his respect in some form or another before he will acknowledge them. Despite this he always has polite manners towards others. One could say that those who are never quick to anger or show no signs of it on the ouside are never a welcome sight when these tendencies show. Aka no Ou is no exception to this fact--while it is nearly impossible to make him show his anger, when it is visibly shown it is far from normal-- one could call it a nightmare come to life with an oddly calm yet violent outburst. The bountou possessess terrible sadistic tendencies, and a near masochistic tolerance for pain. Despite this he is normally very easy going and patient. Aka no Ou himself is a particularly mysterious man diffcult to understand the workings of his mind, or even what he is thinking for that matter. One could that he has a dual personality, but that would be incorrect since the numerous sides to his persona far exceed the number of two. In his free time Aka no Ou carries a generally laid back, jovial attitude. Also a very eccentric individual, Aka no Ou has a habit of making up nicknames for others based on their personality, actions, or appearance. He is also a very whimsical creature, often taking action on nothing more than a whim or an interest much to the confusion of others. He is both intelligent, witty, and also intimately knowledgeable about the others races most prominently of the Soul Society. Despite this, he does not know very much about the Vizard or the Arrancar; as such they are constant interest of his. He is at times a very cold and ruthless person, but is actually warm and caring to friends and shows kindness to them.

Appearance:
Thin and tall in appearance, Aka no Ou has the build of an athlete standing at six feet and four inches tall. If one were to look closer, they would see that he is not very muscular this may seem to be the case; however his body is very well built both sturdy and strong capable of generating much more physical force than one would think. His facial features are handsome, but his eyes are catlike, cold and sinister, however, with no light in them. He usually keeps his eyes closed or at least slitted, wearing a cheerful expression, but when he opens them, his face changes from harmless to menacing in an instant. He normally wears a pair of large round eye-glasses, decorated with black wire-rims.

His hair is light gray, just below chin length, and his feature are that of Romanian. His eyes are dark red. With his formal attire, consisting of a dress shirt, black tie, fedora hat and suit coat, polite manners and ever-present smile, he could be mistaken for a harmless person.

History:
Born an orphan in Bucharest, Romania under the name Cezar Claudiu, Aka no Ou was left to fend for himself from day one. He wondered Romania while being 'different' from others instantly disliked because of intellect and ability to figure out what others would do next. He was often the target of town lynch mobs because of Romania's superstitions about vampires he was assumed to be some kind of demon by the towns. It was at this time that a strange man had entered the town Aka no Ou was passing through, the thing was this man really was a so-called 'vampire', soon after the man purposely sought Aka no Ou out.

At that time Aka no Ou was already a full grown man, and he soon learnt that he also was a 'vampire'. The man was something called a bountou, Aka no Ou instantly believed this man because of the things he could see and other could not. The man taught him all he needed to know to survive as a bountou, but in return the man wanted to take away his freedow. Little did he know Aka no Ou already had a plan in motion, and would not allow this person to take away his new found life. The man was far inferior to him in terms of intelligence; and so he walked into the trap set before him like a lamb to the slaughter. With this man dead Aka no Ou was free to do as he liked, and this was the birth of something vast and unique.

Over countless millennia stories of vampires drifted through human lands, sighting were reported, and the dead were found without a soul. Aka no Ou took advantage of the souls fear; for unknown to them he was the vampire who had preyed apon them. Soon he learned of the adverse effects of devouring a living soul, and so he slowed his fest moving onto to other matters. Aka no Ou had discovered another means of eating that was the bitto. Over time the vampire rumors were all but forgotten, for Aka no Ou had moved onto to finding a way into the land which the shinigami reside. It what viewed as impossible by the other bountou they refused to help in the task, but this was something that disgusted Aka no Ou for he knew that there was no such thing as an impossible task. After countless years at work the key was in sight there were two ways, either through use of the quincy or the kidnapping of a shinigami. Despite the apparent less danger of using a quincy it would take longer, and that was not something Aka no Ou was willing to do time was off the essence. Thus another plan came into motion, this time involving the cause of chaos in the world of the living. The shinigami came just as prodicted and was subdued, tourtured, and forced to lead Aka no Ou into the Soul Society.

Once arriving Aka no Ou found that the entire land was rich with Reishi, and that he was capable of quickly absorbing this Reishi to increase his power and allow him to regenerate. This was interesting to be sure, but it was not enough to dumbfound Aka no Ou. He was looking for something else, and that something was the means the shinigami use to cross between worlds. Aka no Ou was hoping to learn about this mechanism so that he himself could create a way into Hueco Mundo, and prehaps a way back into the Soul society. Carefree not to absorb too much to quickly, Aka no Ou steadily absorbed Reishi at a constant rate as he kept himself hidden from the shinigami. He found what appeared to be a lab of some sort, certaining something of interest. Aka no Ou took a good look at everything inside not bothering to make copies, he had all he needed inside his head. Things never went as smoothly as he wanted them to, and despite his plan working perfectly so far he finally found out. The shinigami attacked him on sight, and although he prefered not to go into this right now Aka no Ou had no other choice. He was already powerful to be sure, but being in a place made entirely of high quality Reishi boasted his powers to unimaginable levels and then there was the regenerative factor. Soon the captains started coming in and although he was holding his own, Aka no Ou knew it was best to cut his loses and retreat. Back the way he came using the same method as before, the elusive Bountou got away from the Soul Society and was never heard from again; all about him was forgotten for years.

That was until the next bit of havoc was caused in the world of the living, this time by the same vampire rumors that had been long since forgotten. Aka no Ou was once again using the ruse of a vampire to further his quest for knowledge, this time he wished to know the workings of humans who had super human powers. It isn't knowledge others know but Aka no Ou was likely the source of many popular vampire stories, as he was the one known as Dracula and also Vlad the impaler. It is also not common knowledge that he is one of the few fertile bountou. To this day Aka no Ou has been in hiding, but not for long. This time he is planning to aid his fellow bountou and prehaps ahve them aid him.
