| Arrancar Registration Name: Valentina Volpe Rank: Fraccion to Hiruma Age: 1,257 Appearance: Valentina is a rather voloptuous young female arrancar. She has long silver hair that goes down to her buttocks. Her eyes are bright yellow with slit pupils, much like a cat's. Her hands and feet are almost animalistic in appearance. her hands are human in shape, but are covered in a thin black pelt. On her palm and on the underside of each fingertip is a hardened pad, much like a dog's. Each finger is tipped in inch long, razor sharp claws. She has two large canine teeth in place of normal incisors. Atop her head are a pair of vulpine ears. They are white in color. Her feet are a little different. She only has three toes on each foot. They maintained a fox-like appearance. She also has a long, plush tail. The fur is snow white and extremely soft to the touch. She is usually dressed in a typical Arrancar's attire. However, her outfit is rather different. Her top is long sleved, and low cut, showing a bit of her cleavage. She wears nothing beneath her thin Hakama pants. This made things more comfortable for her tail. Her mask fragments appear as set of jaw bones, both Maxillary and Mandibular bones, on both sides of her face, and her hollow hole is located between her collarbones. Gender: Female Personality:Valentina is energetic and cunning. She loves playing tricks on her fellow arrancar, as well as flirting with the males. She is a bit sneaky at times. She's very playful and never really takes anything seriously. She is a vicious fighter. She fights like an animal when provoked, reverting to a more primal nature. She's often rather cocky and will pick a fight with anything that she knows she stands a chance at defeating. Her cocky attitude doesn't replace her common sense. She apsolutely adores messing with the opposite sex. Due to her looks, she gets quite a bit of male attention. She soaks it up like a sponge. Her biggest pet peeve is her tail. If anybody lays a single finger on it, they are doomed to certian death. Though she comes off as arrogant and cocky, she has a strong sense of duty and will do anything for her brothers and sisters in Hueco Mundo, even if it means her life. She is not one to give up easily. Val hates humans with an undying passion. She won't hesitate to crush one, given the chance. She sees them as filthy insects. -------------------- Hair Color: white Likes: Chaos and destruction Dislikes: Silence and boring situations Crushes: human skulls? o-o -------------------- Specialties: She has a canine's keen sense of smell and hearing. History:Life on Earth:: Valentina was born in Flourence, Italy. Her father died before she was born, so she was raised by her mother alone. She attended school like a normal child, and was quite popular among her peers due to her open personality. When she was fifteen, she fell in love with her boyfriend at the time. This boy was ninteen years old. Valentina's mother did not approve and warned Valentina of the serious risks that can come from her actions. Valentina, being a normal teenager, ignored them. One night, the young man took Valentina to an old warehouse where he and some of his buddies were having a party. She had a good time, drank, and danced. A seemingly harmless night. At least until the guys started drinking a little too much. The guy she was dating made some rather obvious invitations and crude gestures. Valentina became quite uneasy and refused. maybe it was the liquor that made the guy so violent, or it could have been embarassment from rejection in front of his buddies. he shoved Valentina to the floor and climbed on top of her, holding a knife to her throat as he and his friends took turns raping and beating her. Valentina was a frail girl. She died hours later after the guys finished with her. Her soul was full of rage. She stayed bound to that warehouse years after her death, feeding her hatred for the males that destroyed her. Soon the rage became too much and she was consumed by it. He chain broke and a large hole formed in her chest. Next thing she knew, she found herself in Hell. Hueco Mundo. Life in Hueco Mundo:: When Valentina arrived, she had already mutated into the form of a large White fox. Valentina spent her entire life on her own. She never really bothered to associate herself with other hollows. She craved only one thing. Power. She desired to become an arrancar more than anything. This drove her down a path of death and destruction. She spent the majority of her existance hunting and devouring numerous hollows in order to progress to an adjuchas level Hollow. Her adjuchas form took on the shape of a large fox. She spent her time traveling the desert, trying to become a Vasto Lorde, killing any hollow, adjuchas, or vasto lorde that came her way. That's when she met Hao Aokami. Hao was a member of the espada at the time. He was a quiet individual and seemed quite lonely. That's what attracted her to the man. He was just like her. They became quick friends and he trained with her, helping her advance to an arrancar. He spared with her and hunted with her, helping her devour hollow after hollow until she built up the strength to rip off her own mask. After three years of serving at Hao's side as his fraccion, he trained her and helped her advance to Tercera Espada. He then disapeared from her life forever. This upset Valentina greatly, bringing her to the point where she even quit the Espada and fled to the desert of Hueco Mundo. She didn't bother dwelling on the past, though she still misses Hao greatly. She now likes to wander around the desert and play tricks on her fellow hollow, causing mischief yet not enough to get her into serious trouble, though deep down, she secretly desires to become a Fraccion to an Espada. She wants the feeling of being important to someone, like she was to Hao. After Hao left, Valentina wandered Hueco Mundo aimlessly, forever searching for a master. She then found Hiruma. Rather..Hiruma found her and tried to kill her until she pledged her loyalty to the male. Now she remains his loyal pet, willing to carry out any reasonable order given by him. Innate Ability: Shapeshifting. At any moment, Valentina can take on the shape of a three tailed Yoko, though will appear as a normal silver fox to human eyes. Picture of Character: Sample Chapter:It's an old one o.o - Spoiler:
On a bright Saturday morning, the sun was just peeking over the sleepy barracks of the Seireitei. Kohana, the young Lieutenant of the Eighth Division, was just stirring after a well deserved sleep. She shifted slightly and kicked her covers off of her, then slowly sat up. She let out a soft yawn and raised her arms above her head, her fingers intertwining as she stretched her tired body. She lowered her hands to her head and tussled her messy aqua blue hair. She blinked a couple times to adjust her eyes to the bright sunlight that filtered into her bedchamber. She slowly rose to her feet, and then made her bed before walking to her wardrobe. The female always slept nude, so she had to hurry and dress as quickly as possible before anyone came to check on her. She opened her wardrobe and took out her Black Gi and Hakama pants. She quickly dressed herself, and then grabbed her Lieutenant's badge off of the small shelf within the wardrobe. She tied it around the upper part of her right arm, and then smiled. After she had dressed, she walked over to a small table against the wall. On that table, a small ivory comb sat with several random grooming objects. She reached down and picked up the comb, running it through her tangled hair until it smoothed out. She smiled and finished combing out her hair, then sat the comb back on the table. She then ran her fingers through her hair once more, the silken strands easily slipping through her fingers. She was satisfied with her appearance and decided to leave her chamber to start her day.
After leaving her room, she walked quietly down the narrow hallways of the Eighth Division Barracks, she being greeted occasionally by other shinigami in her division. She returned their greetings with a simply smile and a lethargic wave. The other shinigami found the lieutenant to be rather cold and unfeeling, but she knew that they just didn't understand her. She let out a soft sigh and continued on her way to her private study. Upon arriving at the door which leads to her study, Kohana paused for a moment. Her hand shook and she hesitated to open the door. She could sense something. Something unfamiliar lied on the other side of the door. She swallowed hard, and then exhaled slowly as she wrapped her frail digits around the cold, silver doorknob, turning it to the right, using little force, she pushed the door open. She sighed in relief as she spotted the object that had made her so nervous was only a bird that had gotten itself stuck in her study via the window that she had left open. Kohana walked over to the distressed creature and scooped it up in her hands. She then walked over to the window and released the bird, it taking off into the heavens as fast as it could. She smiled to herself as she reached up and pushed the window down, closing it. She then turned and walked towards her work desk. She enjoyed the feel of the soft maroon carpet on her bare feet.
She proceeded to her desk and sat down in the soft wicker chair in front of it. The desk itself was made of a hard cherry wood. It was covered in stacks of notes and a random assortment of books scattered about its smooth surface. Kohana glanced about the assortment and smiled, not quite sure where to start. After a few moments of deliberation, she decides on the book entitled "Legendary Plants of Hueco Mundo". She reached out and grabbed the book, pulling it to her. She sat it down in front of her and opened the cover. The book was brand new, so it had a distinct scent compared to her older tomes. The pages of the book made a sharp crackling noise as she flipped through them. The feeling on her fingertips made her shudder. She then paused, a certain page catching her eye. The page had a beautiful illustration of a large flowering plant that was actually an odd species of Adjuchas. The image brought a huge smile to her face. She desired to see the unusual creature herself. She had decided. She was taking a short trip to Hueco Mundo. She rose from her seat and walked over to a small cabinet in the corner. In that cabinet sat her ledger, a sketch book, and a leather satchel filled with assorted objects. She took everything out and packed the sketchbook and ledger in the satchel. She then headed off towards the door, grabbing her Zanpaku-to, which was resting against the stairs, on the way out.
Once she had left her study, Kohana swiftly flitted down the halls of the barracks. She was soon halted to a stop by one of her fellow shinigami. The male stood in front of her with a grin, his short black hair covering only part of his dark brown eyes. His grin widened as he spoke. And where are you off to in such a hurry, girly? He had a mocking tone in his voice that annoyed her. She simply shot a glare up at the male, her crystalline gaze being as cold as a glacier. The male shivered and backed up a bit. S-Sorry…Carry on, Miss Hirikano… After he got his stammered words out, he turned and walked off. Kohana stood with an almost triumphant expression, and then continued on her way. She quickly left the Barracks, and ran out to the streets of the Seireitei. She shunpoed at an extremely high speed until she reached the outskirts of the Seireitei, glancing around, looking for a good place to create the portal. She then skidded to a stop and called a Hell Butterfly to assist her. The butterfly flitted around her form while she focused her spiritual pressure enough to unlock a Senkaimon. The hell butterfly guided the young female as she entered the penetrating gate. The gate itself appeared like a small waiting room with sliding doors. The hell butterfly guided the Senkaimon through the dimensions, skipping the Dangai world and taking her straight to Hueco Mundo. After what felt like a mere second, the sliding doors of the Senkaimon opened and Kohana stepped out, her bare feet sinking into the soft white sand of the desert. She inhaled slowly, taking in the thin, bitter air. She shuddered, sensing thousands of hollows in every direction. She hoped that she wouldn't have to draw her sword for anything.
After Kohana stepped into the desert, the Senkaimon, along with the Hell Butterfly vanished into thin air. She then began her trek through the white sand desert in search for the intriguing creature. She walked for what seemed like hours, and it appeared that she was getting nowhere. Every now and then she was confronted by several minor hollows. She simply ignored them and went on with her search. She was close to giving up after nearly four hours passed. She suddenly stopped in her tracks. A wide smile crossed her pale lips. She found it. A large Adjuchas stood in the sand, it resembling a massive flowering tree. The creature was a forest green color with white, bone like plates all over its body. It lumbered slowly through the sand, its pale tendrils digging lethargically through the sand until it unearthed a small lizard-like hollow. The beast crushed the creature in its grasp, and then forced it into a beak-like mouth on top of its head. Kohana watched for a bit, and then sat down in the sand. She took her ledger out of her bag and opened it, then began to jot down notes about the creature. Once she had finished, the put the ledger away and took out her sketchbook. She opened it to an empty page and began to draw the beast from several different angles. The process took only half an hour. When she felt that she had all she needed about the creature, she tucked her sketchbook away in her bag and stood, then shunpoed off before the creature spotted her.
After fleeing the beast, Kohana called upon another Hell Butterfly. The creature had soon arrived with another Senkaimon. The doors of the gate slid open, welcoming the female inside. As soon as she entered, then gate shut then transported her back to the Seireitei. After a short trip home, the Senkaimon opened up in the very same place that she had left from. She swiftly shunpoed back to her Division's barracks, taking care not to drop her satchel by any means necessary. She soon arrived back at her division's barracks and walked inside. She was greeted by several of her fellow division mates. They were flooding her with questions about her whereabouts. She simply told them that she was out, and then before they could offer a rebuttal, she had shunpoed off to her study. She sped down the halls, ignoring anybody that tried to talk to her. She wasn't interested at all. She was almost to her study, but was halted once more. Another shinigami stood in her path. This time, it being a female. It was a new recruit. The woman looked down at Kohana, since Kohana was nearly seven inches shorter than the behemoth woman. Kohana sighed and looked up at her. How can I help, you, Ma’am? The woman smiled softly and reached out, pinching Kohana’s right cheek. Aren’t ya a cute one! The woman shouted as she continued the assault on her cheek. Kohana muttered something and smacked the woman’s hand away. Is there anything you need, miss? I’m really in a hurry. The woman paused for a moment before speaking again. Ah, Yes! Where is the Captain? I have yet to see the guy. Kohana sighed again and shut her eyes. Captain Tabuya is not around…He’s….rather busy… With that said, Kohana continued on her way without saying another word. She simply ignored anything that the woman yelled at her while she walked off.
After just a minute of running and avoiding most confrontation, Kohana walked surprisingly slow until she had arrived at the tall cherry wood door that lead to her private study. She sighed softly and gripped the doorknob, twisting it lazily to the right. She slipped silently through the door of her study, letting out a soft sigh of relief as she slammed the door behind her. She turned and locked the door, ensuring that there would be no more disturbances. She walked down the short stairway and onto the soft carpet, the fibers feeling amazing on her bare feet. She tossed her satchel onto one of the two leather sofas, taking a seat right next to the bag. She relaxed for a minute, and then reached over, grabbing the satchel. She opened the leather flap that sealed it, and took out her ledger and sketchbook. Starting with her ledger, she began to review her notes, ensuring that she got the proper information for her research on the creature. Once she had finished with the ledger, she placed it at her right side, and then grabbed her sketchbook, flipping through the sketches she had made. She was satisfied with the research and sketches that she had managed to get from her little excursion and would happily do it again, but for now, she needed to rest. She pulled her feet up onto the sofa, laying herself down. The cool leather stuck to her skin, but she simply ignored it. She was far too exhausted to care. Her eyes soon became heavy and her lids eventually drifted shut. Before she knew it, she had fallen asleep with her books still gripped tightly in her arms, they being pressed against her chest. A smile still graced her soft lips as visions of the plant-like creature still danced about in her mind. She laid there in a peaceful rest as the rest of the evening passed the little flower by.

| One question: 'Hao Aokami' appears in 4 sentences of your History, yet ... we get very little about about who this is >.>'' Is he a Hollow, an Arrancar, or an Espada? And beyond Shinigamification(Which, by the way, how does he do this?) what other major role did he play in your life that you seem to be hinting at but refuse to say plainly?
Your history also seems rather abrupt, but nonetheless, whole ^^.
Beyond that one minor question about your history, there doesn't seem to be anything else wrong with this application ...
Consider yourself APPROVED, but I would the above questions to be taken into consideration. | |
